The Journey

today

today is a good day.  why, well because my life is good.  i had the privilege of driving my parents to the airport and dropping them off so they could go on their vacation to hawaii.  i could tell they were both excited.  this is a gift for my mom, from my dad, her 50th bday present.  i wish we could of gone with them, they are so fun to hang out with. we joke, laugh, cry and then laugh again.  they are a hoot.  my mom and i pick on my dad alot.  they had me when they were so young.  but they are my parents, i love them so. just love them.

the kids and i went to church last night, erik took two of his closest friends.  so glad he feels comfortable enough to invite friends to church.  we go to lakewood, and they have the coolest hangout for the kids.  when i was growing up in lakewood we had a gym, but the kids now have a floor called "the loft" dedicated to them.  they have playstations, a cafe and this cool place where they have their shows.  the music they play is like if you were at a club, but its christian music. so glad erik (and then the girls) have this place to go.  i loved growing up in the youth group.  i have the best memories from their.  its a safe place.  you learn alot growing up in youth group.  you may not stick by all of the things you are taught when you go through your early 20's but as you get older you go back to the teachings and go 'now i understand.'  anyway eriks friends had a blast, they are looking to go bk next wk.  so happy-

Life Time Fitness

Fitness_center This place is truly amazing.  Adrian had told me about it and said we should check it out.  I agreed, since he and i both need to get on a work out schedule.  Well we did- we checked it out last night.  This place is completely AMAZING.  Its like a casual "country club."  the ammenities it has for the children is like an amuzement park, ok, maybe not exactly like an amuzement park, but close enough.  We decided to join.  Adrian and I are both excited.  Looking forward to getting in shape and having a cool place to hang out with the kids.  I highly recommend everyone checking this place out.

Life

My life is wonderful.  I have an incredilbe, loving husband - who helps out completely.  we have three beautiful children,  a wonderful dog, cat.  My family is awesome.  Very loving and crazy at the same time.  I have a good job and good friends.  We go to church and have so many opportunities.  When I read the news of what's going on in other parts of the world, it makes me stop and fall to my knees and thank God for this beautiful life he has blessed me with.  He is so Good.

Where the heck have i been.

I cannot believe how long it has been since i have posted.  goodness life is going and going.  can you believe its going to be a new school year in like 5 days.  AAAHH- i will have 6th grader, 4th grader and a 3rd grader.  Glad school is starting, ready to get back on that schedule. plus we will have all the extra stuff that goes with it.

Adrian and i had an opportunity to spend the wknd alone - not really alone - we attended the wedding of adrian's best friend in San antonio- great time (spend alot of money) but we had a great time.  cannot wait for us to spend some more time alone like that.  nice to get away from everyday stuff.  kids were fine.  mine were with cousins, danielle spent her time with her mom (scary) those stories danielle's with her mom and comes back are like a blog in itself.  i would hate to be a fly on the wall at that place. honestly - i would probably have cps over there in a matter of seconds.  i know i have issues i have to deal with regarding that, but the girl (whatever you want to call her) should not be allowed to see danielle as long as she does. they are twisted over there. honestly they are.

ANYWAY--------------i am still in the process of building my arbonne business.  really excited about this and the opportunity- THE PRODUCTS ARE FREAKING AMAZING.  cannot wait to order everything.  we have the skincare, i take the vitamins and have the detox tea on its way.  its amazing that more people don't get this concept. you are just redirecting the way you shop.  you know getting excited about your own store.  i would love to buy stuff from the store and have them send me a thank you check -WELL YOU KNOW WHAT - this way i can.  i can get so excited about this stuff, tell my family and friends and they tell their friends and family.  its like a sam's club deal.  except the products are freaking amazing.  they are PURE SAFE AND BENEFICIAL.  NOT MADE WITH ANY ANIMAL BYPRODUCTS OR CHEAP FILLERS.  just the good stuff.

the products are comparible to any major line out there.  you feel the difference on your skin as you put it on.

well enough of my rambing- i will ramble later on

peace ---------------

Arbonne

Arbonne is what i sell now.  What i am a huge fan.  The products are incredible and the business opportunity is as well.  I am so excited to be a part of this.  I have tried a couple other Network Marketing businesses before but this is the one that will be the one that I am successful at.  The website to it is www.arbonne.com.  The products are amazing, honestly the are.  They are all natural and botanical.  Do not contain any animal by-products and they do not do animal testing.

swails

Life for us is going along.  Making changes, trying to get in a groove.  Work is fine, children are gone.  I know cannot believe it.  My children are with their father's family in Mexico and Danielle is with her mother.  Adrian and I are not sure what to do with ourselves.  Too old to hang out bars and stay up all night.  But we've been enjoying eating dinner together and just hanging out.  I cannot believe it is mid July.  School will start very soon for us.  Have a lot of house projects.  We painted our bedroom but just the walls. Still have to the cabinets in the bathroom and the trim through out the room.  But that all has to be primed.  Its been raining here in Houston, thank goodness. All of my plants and flowers that i planted have died.  Because I did not water.  I want to be a gardner soo bad, but have not put my heart and soul into it.  I know I will someday.  Monday night my parents came over for dinner.  it was nice to have them there.  Adrian was able to share his pictures from Hawaii.  They enjoyed it and he enjoyed sharing it with them.  They are going at the end of August.  Mom's bday gift.

I have not taken any pictures lately.  I need to get some of the kids done.  They are growing so fast.  But becoming beautiful people.  both in the inside and out.  I love watching them grow.  I miss them so much.  I really do.

Floating the River and More

  Gruene2

Adrian and I had incredible wknd.  Very unexpected.  He and i can never plan anything just for the two of us.  With three children who have busy schedules - its rare that we get a moment for us, much less a whole wknd.  So Friday, when we realized that Adrian's daughter and my children would go with there other parents, Adrian called and asked if I wanted to take a trip to visit some friends.  I said yes, we dropped the children off were they needed to go and we left for Kerriville, Tx.  There we stayed w/adrian's friends.  Then we got up Saturday morning and floated down the Frio River.  It was perfect.  4 hours floating down a river, it was so hot but the water was the perfect temperture.  Crystal clear water too.  Then after that went to eat dinner and had a drink at a local place.  We were all pretty wiped out, so we called in an early night.  Sunday morning Adrian and I got up, took off for her home but decided to stop in Gruene, Tx have lunch and walk around this quaint place.  It was wonderful.

erik and noelle

Baseball_pictures029 The story of the two of them.  I will continue-- Ok, to continue on these two.  They are mine.  All mine.  I must say that they are excellent kids.  Very unique.  Erik is my kind, sweet spirit son (who is about to enter middle school, i am sure my blog will be filled with stores about that) and Noelle, my beautiful daughter, her personality is very strong.  She knows what she likes, she has a tendenacy to voice her opinion a little too much (we are working on it) but she also has a kind heart.  She sincerely cares for the people she truly loves. But I have noticed a quality about Noelle that has me concerned, nothing bad, just that she guards her heart.  She's careful who she lets get close to her.  Just something that i have observed the past couple of wks.  ANYWAY - the reason i chose these two to write about is to write about their special bond they have with one an other.  Usually, on most days they are fighting, constantly getting on each other's nerves, but if they are in some kind of pain I know now that they will always take care of each other.  the reason i say this is because Noelle had a stomach virus on Tuesday.  When she came home from vacation bible school she was not feeling well.  She called to tell me and I said just rest.  Well - she threw-up, and Erik was there with her to take care of her.  He cleaned up the accident, he had her go lay down, served her some water, gave her a cold rag to put on her head.  My son, her brother, took the time and consideration to take care of her (to clean up after her).  Inside I cried with thankfulness to God.  ---but then later on that evening he was complaining about noelle, how she was in his room.  Oh the love of siblings.  They are soo fickel with their emotions.  Noelle and Erik have always had eachother.  Going through my divorce with their father they have had eachother.  They won't go his house without eachother.  If one goes the other has to go.  --they have had to put up with me.  being so crazy at times, but for having me as a mom they have turned out to be incredible kids.

Ok enough for now.

New Changes

ok  - so here are new things that are getting ready to happen in the swails/gonzalez household.

1. Erik starts summer school - prepare him for his reading next yr.  He's a good reader just reads fast and does not take the time to comprehend what he's reading.  But he'll get it.

2.The girls start vacation bible school. thank goodness

3. Adrian goes bk to work from his vacation.  so glad he is home missed him.

4. And me well i start a new J_O_B.  I am excited.  Its somthing that is out of the legal field.  I am finally getting out of that field - after 10+ years.  I will be an executive/marketing assistance for an environmental company.  I interviewed for this position about a month ago, and i was really praying for this one.  And then boom - out of the blue she called (the owner of the company) and that was it.  Got the job.

5. And last for now, I am starting a new business.  Selling Arbonne Products - they are natural skin care and nutritional products.  They are fantastic.  The skin care actually smells like vitamin C - I guess that's because IT  is made out of vitamin C :)  Just ordered vitamins for me and the children.  The lady I signed up with is coming in town on June 11 to host a class for me.  Really really excited.  Please feel free to check out their site.  www.arbonne.com.  If anyone would like more info, please feel free to email at aswails@houston.rr.com.
